RouteMate support

RouteMate is in beta. These checks resolve the most common issues without exposing private route or account information.

Report a problem

Tell us what went wrong. If you are signed in, RouteMate fills in your account email and display name. Your email app opens the completed report so you can review and send it to support@route-mate.app.

Do not include a password, precise home address or private route geometry. RouteMate does not store this form; it prepares an email in your device's email app.

If you write in another language, the support team may use Microsoft Azure Translator to understand and reply. Machine translation is reviewed before a response is sent.

Location does not resolve

  • On a phone, current location requires HTTPS and browser permission.
  • If accuracy is worse than 250 metres, move outdoors or enter a place instead.
  • For an entered place, choose the intended match before searching.

No route is returned

For a street, scenic or park request, try a shorter target, Low effort or a nearby start. For sightseeing, keep the chosen route type, try a city-centre start or a shorter maximum, and retry if attraction discovery is temporarily unavailable. RouteMate will not silently substitute another route type.

  • A sightseeing result needs at least two mapped attractions that can be verified against the final route.
  • A daily beta capacity message includes the reset time when available; saved routes remain accessible during that period.

Activity progress is missing

Choosing, saving, exporting or transferring a route does not count as completion. After finishing, use Mark as completed on the chosen or saved route, or record it from Your activity.

Password or account link expired

Request a new recovery email from the password-reset page. Confirmation and recovery links may expire and each recovery code can be exchanged only once.

Privacy, account data or complaints

Use the contact method in the privacy policy for access, correction, deletion or privacy complaints. You can already remove saved routes and individual activity records in the app.

Offline limitations

Previously loaded public information and the offline notice may remain available. Route search, map tiles, route generation, weather and air quality require a network connection. RouteMate does not provide offline maps.
